Croatian Firm Agrees €2.5 Million Volkswagen Deal

AD Plastik, who are based in Solin near Split on the Dalmatian coast, have reported that they have agreed cooperation with Volkswagen in a deal worth 2.5 million euros. AD Plastik will make handles for four VW car makes and will deliver them to factories in Germany and Mexico.

“We will be making handles for the Golf Variant, the Golf Sportsvan, the Touran and the Tiguan”, AD Plastik said in a statement.

The parts will be manufactured at the Solin factory with the serial production starting in 2017. It is not the first major deal for the successful firm, last year AD Plastik were contracted to produce parts for the new luxury Maserati Levante and for the Ford EcoSport SUV.
