Croatian Fans Clash With PSG Fans In Paris, 1 Badly Injured

Despite French Interior Minister Manuel Valls banning fans of Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb from attending Tuesday nights UEFA Champions League match against Paris Sait-Germain in Paris, 24 people have been arrested after Dinamo’s notorious Bad Blue Boys fans clashed with Paris Saint-Germain supporters on Monday night in the French capital.

One Croatian was badly injured in the fight which erupted in downtown Paris, before police intervened and restored peace in the Place de la Bastille square in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A Croatian fan suffered “a rather bad chest injury” and was given medical aid in a fire-fighting vehicle and another was taken to hospital by ambulance, a witness said, reported by French portals. Around 200 Bad Blue Boys have travelled to Paris ahead of tonight’s match. There have been reports on Tuesday afternoon of more arrests in Paris, with around 80 bad blue boys now in custody.
