Iran have pulled out of a EURO 2016 warm-up match with Croatia scheduled for next month in Koprivnica…

The Croatian football federation announced today that Iran’s place would be taken by Moldova. Croatia will face Moldova on 27 May 2016 in Koprivnica, the first time that the Croatian national team will play a match there in their history.

Croatia will face San Marino in another friendly in Rijeka before they head off to France in early June to prepare for their first match at EURO 2016 against Turkey in Paris on 12 June. Croatia and Moldova have met once before. On that day back in May 2008 a Niko Kovač goal was enough to give Croatia the win.
