Croatian Armed Forces Day Marks 23rd Anniversary

“To mark the anniversary, we remember and pay tribute to all the fallen and deceased participants in the defense during the Homeland War, and give gratitude to all Croatian libertarians, and all Croatian defenders. Our past is the foundation and pledge for our present and our future,” President Josipović said in his congratulatory message.

Every 28th of May, Armed Forces Day is held in honor of the nations military forces, and Josipović added that the Croatian Armed Forces operated for the benefit of the security of citizens, society and the state.
