The President of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) Aminu Maigari has revealed that they are targeting a match against Croatia, and are now just waiting on Davor Šuker and the Croatian FA to confirm before a date can be set. Nigeria have drawn Bosnia and Herzegovina in their group, and it is understood that was part of the reason why they have targeted Croatia. The match will also serve a purpose for Niko Kovač’s men, with Croatia yet to play an African nation in their short history. Croatia face Cameroon in Brazil in the group stages.
