Croatia Record First Win at Ice Hockey World Championships in Eindhoven

Croatia has beaten Lithuania 4-1 (0-1, 2-0, 2-0) in round 2 of the World Championships and now have four points after dramatically losing its first game at the World Championships to Great Britain 3-2 in overtime after having a 2-0 lead.

Trailing 1-0 to Lithuania after the first 20 minutes Croatia came back strong, and goals to Ugnius Cizas, Nathan Perkovich, Ryan Kinasewich and Andy Murray gave the Croatians their first win. Croatia play hosts Holland in round 3 on Thursday. The winner of the group will advance to Division 1 Group A.
