Croatia has named its final squad for the FIBA Basketball World Cup which starts in Spain next week…
Croatia have named a strong side and will be looking to go a step further that its best performance of 3rd in 1994. Captain Roko Ukić leads a side which includes NBA Draft pick Dario Šarić, new Brooklyn Nets signing Bojan Bogdanović and Indiana Pacers’ Damjan Rudež.
Croatia is in Group B with Argentina, Greece, Philippines, Puerto Rico, and Senegal. The World Cup runs from 30 August – 14 September.
Croatia squad: Roko Ukić (c), Luka Babić, Damir Markota, Oliver Lafayette, Krunoslav Simon, Luka Žorić, Bojan Bogdanović, Mario Hezonja, Damjan Rudež, Dario Šarić, Ante Tomić and Lukša Andrić.
