Croatia Fly Out To Play Portugal Without 6 Regulars

Croatia flew out from Zagreb international airport on Sunday morning bound for Geneva where they will play Portugal in a friendly tomorrow night. Six players however involved in Friday night’s ill-fated loss to Scotland did not travel to Switzerland
Goal keeper Stipe Petikosa, Gordon Schildenfeld, Eduardo da Silva, Nikica Jelavic and Mario Mandzukic all picked up niggles on Friday night which prevented them from travelling, while experienced defender Joe Simunic was rested. Stimac has called in 20-year-old defender Igor Bubnjic.

Croatia v Portugal – Monday 10 June,  kick off 7:30pm (Geneva)
