Carsharing coming to Croatia’s capital in the autumn…

Spin City Carsharing, a service that will allow the Zagreb community to share vehicles, was presented in the capital on Tuesday.

Spin City will have 30 cars at the public’s disposal located around the city. Users can locate the nearest vehicle via their smart phones, which will also be used to unlock the vehicles. Out of the 30 vehicles, 10 will be electric. All one has to do is register on Spin City’s website (spincity.hr) to be able to access the cars to use. Users will be charged 2.62 kuna per minute driving.

The aim of carsharing is to have fewer cars serving more people, resulting in less traffic and parking congestion and also act as alternative to owning a vehicle.
