BBC Drama to Film in Croatian Coastal Town

CroatiaCroatia, and in particular its stunning coastline, has been in vogue with film production houses around the world recently, with HBO’s Game of Thrones the most recent high-profile series to choose Croatia as a filming location. The latest show now to select the Dalmatian coast as a backdrop is BBC series Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell…

The BBC show’s production crew will be in Trogir, just outside of Split, from 24 March to 2 April to shoot parts of new episodes of the BBC One show. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Susanne Clarke, and is made by the BBC for broadcast on BBC One. Actors Eddie Marsan and Olivier award-winning Bertie Carvel take on the roles of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell in the drama series.
