Ante Gotovina Goes Into The Tuna Business

Freed Croatian general Ante Gotovina, who was acquitted by a Hague Court in November last year after spending more than 7 years in jail, has entered the business world.

In January Gotovina formed a tuna farming company called Pelagos net farma d.o.o, which will farm tuna between the small Dalmatian islands of Vrgad and Gir near Zadar. Gotovina’s company is allowed to farm up to 450 tons of tuna a year, according to the Zadar county concession.

Gotovina has a partner in the business, his long time friend Milan Mandic, who is the head man at the “Jadran-tuna” company, says Tportal.
