Novalja on the island of Pag, Crikvenica, Trogir, Šibenik and Rijeka were the fastest growing destinations in Croatia in Summer 2016, according to one of the world’s biggest online booking sites, Booking.com…
Whilst those five destinations experienced the fastest growth when it came to bookings, the cities of Split, Dubrovnik and Zagreb were top of the list when it came to the highest number of international reservations via Booking.com.

Booking.com revealed that the average stay per visitor through their system in Croatia was four nights. It was also revealed that out of the 48,000 accommodation options in Croatia available on the online booking website, apartments were the most popular, followed by hotels and guest houses.

According to the report, Vienna, Budapest and Sarajevo were the most popular destinations booked online by Croatians. When it came to local destinations, Croatians most favoured Trogir, Rijeka and Zagreb.
