40,000 Fans Turn Up To Popular Croatian Music Festival

Organisers of one of Croatia’s leading music festivals, Terraneo Festival 2013, which was held in the picturesque Dalmatian city of Sibenik from 7-9 August, say that all expectations were met after more than 40,000 fans from all over the globe turned up to party for 3 days.

Multi-platinum American group the Wu-Tang Clan, who Rolling Stone magazine called ‘the best rap group ever’, The Prodigy, and My Bloody Valentine were the festivals headline acts, with other acts, such as rocker Aloe Blacc, whose hit “I Need a Dollar” went top ten around the world; UK alternative-rock giants The Cribs, Grammy Award Winning American artist and Billboard TOP 100 veteran, Duncan Sheik, Texas rockers Bosnian Rainbows, Brooklyn folk-rockers Woods and eccentric German performer Mambo Kurt , helping create a ‘Woodstock-esq’ atmosphere in Sibenik. Fans from the UK, Sweden, Israel, Norway, Australia, Bosnia, France and as far away as New Zealand descended on the third edition of the festival which is creating a sound reputation on the music festival scene around the world.
