34th Zagreb Summer Evenings Opens Tonight

The best Croatian and international musicians will be performing this year when the traditional classical music event, Zagreb Summer Evenings, opens tonight in the capital…

The 34th edition of the popular festival will see concerts held nightly at Klović Court atrium and Church of St. Catherine until 15 July.

This year there will be a host of top performers, including the famous wind ensemble Les Vents Francais with Croatian hornist Radovan Vlatković, renowned baroque ensemble Les Arts Florissants and William Christie, the Pavel Haas String Quartet and the Eggner Brothers piano trio.

There will also be performances by local audience’s favorites – violinist Kristóf Baráti, pianist Enrico Pace and guitarist Srđan Bulat, who recently became the Master of Arts at the Royal Academy in London. He will perform during the Young Croatian Stars section presenting Croatia’s most successful young musicians.
