2 Croatian Films Awarded at Sarajevo Film Festival

Two Croatian films have been named as the best in their categories at the 20th Sarajevo Film Festival which ended on Saturday night…
In the short film category, Una Gunjak’s ‘The Chicken’ won the top award, whilst ‘Naked Island’, directed by Tiha K. Gudac, won the Heart of Sarajevo award for the best documentary film. The Turkey-France-Germany co-production ‘Song of My Mother’, directed by Erol Minta, picked up the festival’s best film award. The best actor award went to Feyyaz Duman for his role in ‘Song of My Mother’, whilst Mari Kitia won best actress for her role in ‘Brides’
A special jury mention also went to Croatia’s Tatjana Bozic for her film ‘Happily Ever After’. (Pic FaH – Anadolu Ajansa/ Samir Yordamovic)
