100,000th Visitor To Picasso Exhibition Sets Record At Zagreb Gallery

Slavica Radic from Split is the 100,000 visitor to the PICASSO – Masterpieces from Musée National Picasso, Paris exhibition which opened at Zagreb’s Klovic Palace Art Gallery on 23 March.

Visitors from all over Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand and China have come to Croatia’s metropolis to check out over 670 million euros worth of masterpieces from Pablo Picasso. 56 paintings and 40 sculptures from Picasso’s collection are in Zagreb and will be exhibited until 7 July. The gallery expected around 100,000 visitors to the exhibition before it opened, and with that figure now already broken, it makes it the most successful exhibition ever held in the gallery.

The gallery says that the exhibition has generated 4 million kuna (535,000 euros) from the exhibition.
